It is the velvet child of the Amethystos family. Its purple bright color is the bequest of the small surface yields of Cabernet Sauvignon as well as of Merlot and the Greek Limnio.

Taste : Full bodied, velvet, with intense aroma of plum. Good concentration and balanced acidity with firm, mature tannins. Long finish with hints of spices
Accompanies : Oven baked pork, veal in tomato sauce
Ageing : ~ 15 years
Variety : Cabernet. Sauvignon 70%, Merlot 20%, Agiorgitiko 10%
Soil : Alkalic clay on a slope at 200-300m, with northern exposure
Vinification : Selection, destemming, crushing fermentation, malolactic fermentation, ageing in new (30%) and old French oak barrels (12 months)
Stabilization : Light filtration
