Aroma : Multilayered nose with a bouquet of ripe black fruit and aromas of tobacco, mint and cedar in the background
Taste : Robust structure and full body, Very good concentration of small red fruit. Powerful but ripe tannins leading to a very long finish
Accompanies : Beef fillet, grilled steaks, lamb frames
Ageing : ~ 20 years

Soil : Clay, stony on a slope at 300m, with northern exposure
Vinification : Selection, destemming, crushing fermentation, malolactic fermentation, ageing in new French oak barrels (18 months) ageing in the bottle
