Talagani Apostolou is a unique Greek cheese made exclusively from sheep’s milk. Often compared to Cypriot halloumi, it stands out for its soft, creamy texture and subtle minty flavor.
Perfect for grilling or frying like saganaki, it does not melt during cooking, keeping its shape and exceptional taste. Its flavor can be enhanced by marinating in olive oil and herbs before cooking.
Awarded three times in national and international competitions, this handmade traditional cheese is loved by chefs and featured on menus across Greece.
The smoked version, smoked for 7 hours over beech wood, develops a rich smoky aroma. Talagani cooks quickly and easily, and is perfect alone with ouzo or raki, in salads, appetizers, or as a creative ingredient.
